Skincare Sampling Review
A couple of months ago, I posted a haul of some of the samples I've received from online beauty orders. I've tried everything out and I'm ready for the quick fire reviews.
Sisley Precious Face Oil:
I don't think I've been this excited about a skincare product in such a long time. It's gorgeous. The texture is light yet the formula is incredibly hydrating. My skin was glowing when I was using this. Unfortunately, I won't be purchasing the full size as it's £136. It pains me to say that because it's probably the best skincare product I've ever used. If you can afford it, go for it.
Sisley Black Rose Cream Mask:
I'm a bit on the fence about this sample. I haven't noticed enough of a difference to warrant spending the money on the full size. I think it would work better for mature skins, since its main claim is that it makes your skin instantly plumper. You do get a heck of a lot of product in the sample, which I haven't finished so I'll be giving it to my mum to test out. I'll let you know how she gets on.
Goldfaden MD Doctor's Scrub:
This is a very creamy exfoliator. The exfoliating properties are very fine but I just didn't enjoy the texture. It was like a cream, but with grains of sand. I didn't think it was that effective either. My skin felt pretty much the same after. I don't think I'll be purchasing the full size.
Caudile Vinosource Serum:
I really enjoyed this serum as it was hydrating but light. It has a very similar texture to the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum and the Vichy Aqualia Serum. In fact, I'd say this is right in the middle.
Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel:
This is such a cult product. I mean, everyone loves it, except me. I just didn't think it was anything special. It was nice, but not great. The texture was nice, a gel that turns to an oil, however, I found I needed a lot of product to really massage it in for a proper cleanse.
This has been quite a mixed bag of samples. The most disappointing product was the Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel since it's so hyped up. My favourite sample has got to be the Sisley Face Oil. It's a beautiful face oil that I would highly recommend. If only it wasn't so darn expensive!
What's your current favourite skincare product?
Thanks for reading,
Avani
