The Cotton Pads Worth Writing About

Cottons pads. A humble and some might say mundane product that I've never been fussed about, until I tried the right ones.

The cottons pads in question might surprise you, they're the Cien Soft Make-Up Pads from Lidl. I've been a big fan of the Cien range at Lidl for a while now. The hand washes and body washes are brilliant and so reasonably priced. The cotton rounds are no different. I find they strike the perfect balance between thickness and fluffiness. They're not so thick that you need a lot of product to soak them, nor are they so fluffy that they fleece or disintegrate.

They're very soft and have a flat and bumpy side which I always find just that tad more exfoliating. The best part is the price, they're 56p. You can't really argue with that. The price is low yet the quality is higher than what I would normally buy from other supermarkets. Next time you're near a Lidl, check them out. And get some body washes whilst you're at it. And some cheesecake. Lidl do an amazing frozen New York Cheesecake within their Deluxe range. I think I need to go shopping......
