Current Brush Favourites #2
It's been a while since I did a Current Brush Favourites post and recently, I've been using lots of different brushes so I thought it was about time I did another one!
Real Techniques Blush Brush- Although designed for blush, I find this is more suitable for bronzer. It makes achieving a healthy bronze glow really quick and easy. It's quite a tapered brush so I often use it for a very soft barely there contour with my bronzer on a day to day basis.
Real Techniques Cheek Brush- I use this brush specifically with my Max Factor Creme Puff Blush because it picks up the perfect amount of colour and blends it with ease. The shape of brush is especially good if you like a very sculpted blush placement.
Real Techniques Duo Fibre Contour- I've been obsessed with this brush for contouring recently. The shape allows you to get right into the hollows of the cheeks and since it's duo fibre, it never picks up too much product. If you tend to be heavy handed with your contour, or are using a very pigmented contour, this brush would be perfect for you. I find with this brush, you can really blend and soften edges giving you a seamless finish.
Zoeva 221 Luxe Soft Crease- Hello perfect crease brush. This is my favourite brush for applying colour directly into the crease. It's quite slim compared to the Mac 217 or the Zoeva 227 so you can precisely define your socket. It fits into the crease beautifully and works well on lots of eye shapes.
Zoeva 231 Petite Crease- I've been loving a smoked out upper lash line recently and this small tapered brush gets it done. It's both fluffy and dense making it perfect for blending out cream products at the lash line. If you like a very lived in smokey eye, this is the brush for you.
Beauty Blender- I couldn't do one of these posts and not include the Beauty Blender. No matter what coverage base you're using, this sponge will ensure a flawless but natural finish. It works particularly well if you have dry skin because it smoothes over dry patches. I think every beauty addict should own a Beauty Blender.
So that's a round up of all my current brush favourites. I am a brush hoarder so I'm constantly switching up what brushes I use and finding new ways to use them.
What makeup brushes are you currently loving?
Thanks for reading,
Avani
