Huge Collective Beauty Haul
I haven't done any proper beauty shopping since before Christmas, so last week I decided to treat myself and go a little crazy!
Skincare:
I finally got round to purchasing the First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads. I have heard so much about this product. They're exfoliating toning pads containing ingredients such as glycolic and lactic acid. My skin has been, let's say interesting recently and exfoliating with an acid is the one thing I haven't tried. I've already started using these, and so far I really like them. Watch this space for a full on review.
I also decided to repurchase the Perricone MD Chia Serum from SpaceNK. You all know I love this serum; it really feels like I'm giving my skin an extra dose of hydration. If you want a more in depth review, you can read that here.
Makeup:
Let's start with base. I don't really have any primers so I thought I'd pick up a couple to test out. I chose the Max Factor FaceFinity All Day primer and Maybelline Baby Skin. I'm really excited about Baby Skin because I have fairly noticeable pores and I'm hoping this will help conceal them.
I've been eyeing up L'oreal Lumi Magique Concealer Highlighter pens and decided to go ahead and pick them up. I wasn't sure what shade to get so I just picked up both Light and Medium. Since I'm planning on using these for highlighting under the eyes etc, I figured I could mix the two shades. I've already started using these and the consistency is really creamy and light.
The final item I bought was the Max Factor Creme Puff Blush in 'Gorgeous Berries.' This blush is truly beautiful and I can't wait to see how long these last on the skin. I've heard great things about this range so stay tuned for my review!
So that's my massive beauty haul for you. I can't wait to put these things to the test and report back to you!
Have you tried anything I bought?
Thanks for reading,
Avani

I thought the Lumi Magic highlighter looked too light for me :(
ReplyDeleteI'm really intrigued by the Max Factor primer - I'll look forward to hearing your thoughts! xx
Magpie Jasmine
So did I, but I think mixing it with medium might be ok. I will let you know how I get on with the shades :) x
