The Hair Mask That Actually Works

I'd heard great things about the Philip Kingsley Elasticizer (£15-£29) but it never really wowed me, until now. 

I've been using this consistently for over a month and I'm so glad I purchased this little gem. It's a thick deep conditioner that you apply on wet hair and leave on for 20 minutes then wash off. I actually like to leaving this in overnight for a really intense treatment. I wash it out the next morning and my hair is tangle free, smooth and very soft. 

Over the past month, I've noticed a big difference in the health of my hair. It doesn't feel as dry and damaged as it used to. I think that's also something to do with a lack of heat styling but the Elasticizer has certainly helped. After I use this, I always have a good hair day. It just does something to my hair that I can't quite explain. I find that my natural curls form better and look better. I don't have any annoying frizzy sections and it's pretty easy to manage and style. If you've read any of my previous hair posts, you'll know that my hair is a beast to do anything to.

It's quite a pricey product and I normally don't spend that much on hair products, but this 75ml tube has lasted ages and shows no signs of being done yet. I apply a reasonable size blob (very technical term, I know) to my mid lengths and ends, using what ever is left on my hands in the roots. If you have fine hair, use less product and don't put it anywhere near the roots otherwise your hair will be greasy.

This is a very nourishing conditioner and when used consistently, my hair thanks me for it. I don't get as many split ends and my hair just looks good. It's as simple as that. 

Elasticizer is my first product from Philip Kingsley and I'll definitely be repurchasing it.
