The Blogger Purchase #1

Charlotte Tilbury Dolce Vita, Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm, Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk, The Ordinary Salicylic Acid 2% Solution

We've all been there. We've read a post by an amazing blogger and immediately gone to the store, or hopped online to buy whatever they've recommended. I get it, I get it. My entire collection is based on bloggers' recommendations and for good reason. I'm much more inclined to buy something a blogger recommends as it's like getting a recommendation from a friend. Wow, the word recommend is really starting to loose all meaning.

Charlotte Tilbury Dolce Vita Eyeshadow Palette:

The Dolce Vita quad by Charlotte Tilbury was featured on every blog I read when it first came out. The palettes in general were (and still are) extremely popular, but bloggers went gaga over Dolce Vita, including me. It has everything you'd want in a high end eyeshadow palette. Four easy to blend shimmer shades that are really versatile and look great together. The famous 'pop' glitter is a truly stunning gold that catches the light. I also adore the rusty red shimmer mixed with the more subtle golden brown shimmer. They blend so beautifully together so create a luxurious and wearable smokey eye.

Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm:

Emma Hardie's Moringa Cleansing Balm was really the first balm cleanser I'd heard a lot about. All my favourite bloggers were raving about it, and it took until this year for me to finally try it. It's one of the best cleansers I've ever used, and I don't say that lightly. It's really emollient and removes any dirt and grime from the day. It leaves my skin feeling clean but not stripped. The spa like scent is also just heavenly.

Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lip Cheat:

Pretty much everything Charlotte Tilbury is blogger recommended, but Pillow Talk Lip Cheat is definitely up there as one of my top blogger influenced purchases. I've never really been a lip liner kind of gal, but this totally changed the game. It's a nudey pink mauve that's really wearable and subtle. The formula is nice and creamy and it doesn't drag or catch when you apply it. You can really build definition and cheat the shape of your lips whilst maintaining a natural finish. It looks great on its own or layered under other lipsticks.

The Ordinary Salicylic Acid 2% Solution:

This is one of my most recent blogger inspired purchases, and it was totally worth it. The Ordinary is shaping up to be one the most talked (and written) about brands of 2017 and their Salicylic Acid 2% Solution is just wonderful. It's really concentrated and is ideal for dabbing onto active spots to dry them out and banish them. I use this and within a couple of days, my breakouts are far less noticeable. It's really effective.

Have any bloggers influenced your purchases? Are you a blogger with a recommendation? Let me know!
