Bourjois is one of my favourite drugstore brands, so it's only fair that I dedicate my second brand focus to it.
Base:
Bourjois do excellent base products. I think their formula's are more sophisticated than others at the same price point. I adore the Happy Light Luminous Serum Primer as it gives me the most beautiful glow. It's very lightweight but offers great lasting power to whatever you put on top. I think this is an excellent primer for dry skin.
I also really recommend the 123 Perfect CC Cream because it offers great coverage with a lovely satin finish. The colour correcting qualities definitely help tone down redness and any dullness. Despite it being a lighter coverage base, it has more coverage than you think.
I've included the Radiance Reveal Concealer because although I have mixed feelings about it, multiple people love it. I do really like the formula because it's very light and easy to blend. I've heard it works better as a colour correcting concealer, so maybe I'll try it like that next.
Cheeks:
Bourjois and cheek products go together like brownies and ice cream. They have so many on offer, with lots of different formula's. The Delice de Poudre range has a bit of a cult following and yes, that does include me. I normally just call it the chocolate range because it's designed to look and smell like chocolate. The powder bronzer is all I ever use because it's nice and warm but again looks very natural. Are you sensing a theme? I also enjoy the cream version in summer because it gives the most gorgeous sun kissed glow. It's also surprisingly easy to apply and I prefer to use the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush because it's dense enough to blend, and the shape fits the face nicely.
For blush, you have to get your hands on the Aqua Blush range. They're liquid blushes but they have more of a gel texture and offer a luminous flush of colour. Despite being a liquid, they're so easy to blend. Liquids tend to be notoriously difficult to blend out, but these are seamless. My favourite shade is Berry Nice which is a vibrant but subtle watermelon pink. The blushes are incredibly long lasting and I don't find the need to reapply them throughout the day. The shades are bright but wearable and I think they'd suit every skin type, even oily skin.
Although I don't use it that much, the Java Rice Powder is quite lovely. It's a setting powder that I like to use in the centre of my face and under the eyes. It does have a shimmer running through it, but it's a very soft fine shimmer that doesn't show on the skin. It sets the skin whilst maintaining luminosity.
Eyes:
Whilst there are other brands I prefer for eyeshadow (hello Makeup Geek) there are some staple products that I use all the time. First up are the Colour Edition Cream Eyeshadow pots which are a cream to powder formula. They are very shimmery, but not glittery or chunky. Because they're a cream to powder formulation, they last all day on the lids. I think they'd be ideal for oily eyelids.
For a more traditional cream product, I love the ColourBand Eye Crayons. I have two shades, Beige Minimal and Rose Fauviste both of which are beautiful. I definitely gravitate towards Rose Fauviste which is a stunning warm rose gold that I absolutely love for summer.
Lips:
I couldn't do a Bourjois brand focus without including the Rouge Edtion Velvets which are some of the best liquid lipsticks. They're long lasting, matte but not drying and feel so comfortable on the lips. I have Hot Pepper which is an orangey red perfect for summer. I also love Frambourjoise which is a more neutral mauvey berry pink.
The ColourBoost Lip Crayons are probably my favourite chubby stick esque product. They just hit all the right notes. They're sheer but still offer good colour pay off, they're moisturising and they have SPF 15. My favourite shade is Fuchsia Libre which as the name would suggest, is a bright but sheer fuchsia.
Bourjois is such a great brand and one I always gravitate towards. I think they do some amazing products and the shades are usually a bit different to other brands at the drugstore.
What's your favourite product from Bourjois?
Thanks for reading,

(P.S I apologise for the delay in posts, I've been having some issues with my photos and internet.)

They're some of the best!
DeleteI always hear about Bourjois and how great they are, but I've never actually tried any of their products to date! Maybe I should get on that, though ;)
