Pixi Glow Tonic vs First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads

Having tried both Glow Tonic by Pixi and the Facial Radiance Pads by First Aid Beauty, I thought I'd do another comparison post to see which one comes out on top.

Both exfoliating toners work excellently at getting rid of dull skin and contain glycolic acid. The Radiance Pads also contain lactic acid. I think Glow Tonic has more glycolic acid in it which I do seem to prefer. It also has Aloe which makes it slightly more gentle than the Radiance Pads. I wouldn't say the Radiance Pads are harsh, but I feel like Glow Tonic is a little more forgiving on the skin. I do think both would be fine for sensitive skin, but it's best to use your own judgement.

I love the convenience of the FAB pads because they're all measured out for you. You simply have to use them. However, I personally think the pads hold too much solution. I always find that there's still some left on the pad even after I've gone over my face twice. I also notice that my face feels very wet afterwards. Glow Tonic doesn't do that. There isn't a lot of difference between the two in price. The First Aid Beauty pads are £22 and Glow Tonic is £18.

I feel the First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads are more suited at younger skin whereas Pixi's Glow Tonic is suitable for all skin. I definitely recommend both, but I think if I was pushed to make a choice,  I'd go for Pixi Glow Tonic.
