Monthly Favourites: November 2015
It's already the end of November! You know what that means...
Once again, the Urban Decay Naked Palette is top of the list. It's the perfect palette for Autumn/Winter because it has all the shades you could want. I love using Half Baked, Smog and Darkhorse to create an intense smokey eye. Naked is also the perfect blending colour to help buff away those hash edges.
I've also been loving Max Factor's Creme Puff Blush in Gorgeous Berries. It has a really silky finish and is actually quite an uplifting and brightening colour. The berry tones make it ideal for this time of year and it adds a lovely flush to the cheeks.
A recent #bbloggers chat on Twitter reminded me how much I love Mac's Plumful lipstick. Being a Lustre finish, it's very sheer and creamy and leaves a nice tint to the lips. It's a great everyday colour and actually pairs well with a gold smokey eye.
If I've been in the mood for a bolder lip, it's been nothing but the Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet in Frambourjoise. I love this liquid lipstick because it's a quite a mauvey pink but with a berry undertone which makes it right on trend for this time of year. It's a good option if you want a bold lip but don't want anything too bold. Think of it like a muted berry lipstick.
I've made my love for Pixi Glow Tonic very clear so it won't come as a surprise that I've included it in this months post. It's a wonderful exfoliating toner that doesn't leave behind a residue and leaves the skin feeling super smooth.
This month I've made quite a few orders from Asos and have been really impressed by them. They carry so many brands and the customer service is just excellent. I love how easy returns are and so far, everything I've tried from their own brand range, is really good quality.
In October, we had Harvey Water Softeners come and fit a water softener for us. Installation was really fast and they managed to get everything done with very little disruption. Soft water is much better for your skin and hair and it means you can use less soap and detergent. I've noticed that I need a lot less shampoo which is always a good thing. Soft water is also great because you don't get the limescale hard water produces. I definitely recommend checking the company out for more information.
I also want to mention an amazing food blog I came across this month called i am a food blog. Firstly, I love the name; simple, easy to remember and right on point. Secondly, the food! Steph's recipes just look absolutely delicious. If you love food, then you'll love her blog.
What have you been loving this month?
Thanks for reading,
Avani

I definitely recommend it. It works really well at exfoliating but it's so gentle on the skin. Let me know if you try it :) x
