5 Beauty Purchases Worth the Hype

In a few short years, I have amassed quite the beauty collection. Whether it be skincare or makeup, I have a lot of it. I just love trying new products and am usually influenced by other bloggers. If a blogger I trust loves a product, there's a good chance I'm going to buy it. I thought I'd put together 5 items that are definitely worth all the hype they get.

Collection Eyes Uncovered Nude Bronze:

At £3.99, this is a bargain. You get six warm toned beautifully pigmented eyeshadows. I've done a full review with swatches and they're definitely some of the best shadows I've come across at the drugstore. Collection have other variants of this palette too, so if you're not into warm golds, then I'm sure you'll find something you'll enjoy.

Maybelline Colour Tattoos:

I've got three shades and love them all. They're incredibly creamy and easy to blend out but when the set, they do not budge. I think they look stunning on their own, but they really shine through when applied underneath other eyeshadows. I have On and On Bronze, Metallic Pomegranate and Pink Gold. I really want to get Creamy Beige and Permanent Taupe too.

Clinique Cheek Pops:

I've only got Ginger Pop but these blushes are just incredible. They're silky smooth, last all day without touch ups and offer a gorgeous glow whilst being matte. I love how easily Ginger Pop applies, blends and warms up the complexion. Click here if you'd like to see a swatch.

Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara:

The mascara that made me fall in love with mascara. This has had some serious hype and for good reason. It pretty much does everything; adds volume, length, doesn't flake and holds a curl. I've gone through several tubes and continue to repurchase it.

Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvets:

Described as having a matte non drying finish that lasts 24hrs, these certainly don't disappoint. Now, they don't last 24hrs, but they do last all day. You can build them up or wear them as a matte stain. I find they last longer when worn as a stain too. They're intensely pigmented and do not dry the lips out at all.

I'm definitely going to do another post like this because as I said, I try so many hyped about products and some of them really do live up to the buzz surrounding them.

What products do you think are worth the hype?

Thanks for reading,
Avani
xoxo

  1. That Maybelline Color Tattoo in metallic pomegranate looks stunning. I seriously might have to pick that up. I always hear about how great those eye shadows/creams are, but I've never tried one yet. I'll have to remember to pick one up when I'm out next time!
