Monthly Favourites: September 2015

Where has the month gone?! Honestly this year is just flying by! The month of September has bought around a lot of changes in my life and a lot of things I've been loving.

The Collection Eyes Uncovered Nude Bronze palette is all I've been wearing on my eyes this month. The palette houses six buttery smooth shimmer eyeshadows which are all equally pigmented. The warm golds and taupes make it perfect for Autumn.

Mac's Hush Cream Colour Base is such a stunning highlight. If offers a beautiful peachy glow to the cheeks but still manages to look natural. If you saw last months favourites, then you'll know I adore the Soap and Glory Technicoral gloss stick. This month, I have been obsessed with Nudist. As the name would suggest, it's a very creamy sheer universal nude.

A duo of skincare that has worked absolute wonders for me is the Trilogy Rosehip Oil and La Roche Posay's Effaclar Duo Plus. This combination is pretty much ideal if you have dry skin that's prone to scarring after breakouts. The rose oil deeply nourishes the skin and helps with scars and Effaclar Duo Plus is just the best thing for breakouts. I  use the two products at least three times a week and my skin has never looked better.

Now I'm getting better, I've been going out more and there have been a few shops that have really stood out to me this month. Firstly, Boux Avenue, I cannot fault anything with the brand so far. They offer an excellent fitting service and the staff are always so friendly and helpful. I also want to give a shout out to the lovely ladies at the Urban Decay counter in John Lewis Bluewater. I don't think I've ever met such lovely people behind a cosmetic counter before. Not only were they really helpful, but we had a full on conversation about all things blogging. It was amazing!

Last week I went for lunch at the Spaghetti House in Westfield's and was blown away by the quality of the food and the excellent staff. I'd never heard of the restaurant before but I'll definitely be going back. The food was really authentic and the staff very attentive. Order the bruschetta if you go, honestly the best one I've ever had!

What have you been loving this September?

Thanks for reading,
Avani
