Roger and Gallet Huile Sublime Bois d'Orange Dry Oil*

If ever there was a beautiful product, it's the Roger and Gallet Huile Sublime Bois d'Orange Dry Oil.* Everything about this hair and body oil screams luxury. But does it actually work?

The short answer is yes! It is as wonderful as it smells. The texture of this oil is very light and silky leaving behind a gorgeous glow to the skin. Being a dry oil, it's absorbed immediately and doesn't leave a greasy film behind. This is perfect for the summer because it gives intense hydration without the stickiness of a heavy cream or body butter. The scent is just delicious. The orange makes it quite a citrus scent but it has a warmth to it that balances it out. I have eczema and am always cautious when trying out new body products but this hasn't aggravated it at all.

I must admit, I'm not so keen on this in the hair. It's a bit too heavy for me, but I have very thick hair which is easily weighed down, so keep that in mind. For the body, I cannot fault it. I love that it's a spray so it's really easy to apply in a rush. I like to do a couple of spritzes on my hands and then work it into the skin.

It's quite expensive (£24.50/100ml), however, I've been using it nearly everyday for the past few weeks and have barely made my way through the bottle. It will last you ages. This is the first product I've tried from Roger and Gallett and it really does make me want to check out more from the brand. I also think that this would make a lovely gift for someone and the scent makes it suitable all year round.

What's your favourite product from Roger and Gallet?

Thanks for reading,
