Clinique Cheek Pops: Worth the Hype?

The Clinique Cheek Pops were really hyped about when they were released. They definitely piqued my interest but I only recently managed to get my hands on the shade 01 Ginger Pop.

There is something quite magical about this blush. Despite being a completely matte finish, it leaves the most beautiful luminous flush on the cheeks. The shade I have, 01 Ginger Pop, is a muted terracotta pink. It works perfectly for tanned skins because it looks incredibly natural but it would look stunning on fair skin too. The colour is appearing a lot more red on camera, but in real life it's definitely a more natural terracotta.

The lasting power of this blush is what makes it stand out to me. It lasts all day without fading or going patchy. It's probably the most long wearing blush I own. Maybe even the most long wearing cheek product I own.

I definitely think the Clinique Cheek Pops are worth the hype and I can't wait to get my hands on more shades, particularly Peach Pop. At £16.50, they are expensive but worth every penny in my opinion.

Have you tried the Clinique Cheek Pops? What's your favourite shade?

Thanks for reading,
Avani

  1. I've also heard these talked about a lot but was wondering if they were hyped-up for good reason! It sounds lovely, I especially love the long-wearing aspect as my blush always tends to fade after a few hours.

    1. This blush lasts at least 6 hours on me, if not longer. I'm so happy they lived up to the hype! x
