Monthly Favourites: March 2015

I haven't got a lot of favourites this month, but there have been some real standout products that I thought I'd share.

Skincare:

The First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads are fast becoming a Holy Grail skincare item for me. They're exfoliating toning pads that leave your skin feeling really smooth and soft. I use them every night and they help to brighten my skin and keep breakouts at bay.

Makeup:

I've been loving the L'oreal Colour Riche Mono Eyeshadow in Macaron Vanilla 107 this month. It's a matte cream colour that has a peachy undertone which looks stunning as a brow bone highlight. The slightly peachy tone helps lift the brow bone and ensures that whatever you put in the crease/above the crease won't go muddy or ashy. The formula is very creamy and easy to blend.

Another eyeshadow favourite has been the Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Pink Gold. I finally managed to get my hands on this after months of waiting. It must be a popular colour because it's forever out of stock but it was definitely worth the wait. As the name would suggest, it's a pink with a golden shimmer running through it. It really brightens the eyes when applied all over the lid and is the perfect colour going into Spring.

Finally for makeup we have the Bobbi Brown Eye Blender Brush which is just beautiful. It's soft, fluffy and makes blending out eyeshadow so easy. It does all the work for you. I'll be doing a full review with close up shots of the brush soon.

Other:

I read The Glam Guide by Fleur de Force this month and I was so impressed by it. It's a brilliant lifestyle book which covers everything from beauty to health and fitness. Fleur did an amazing job writing this book and you can read my full review with photos here.

Before I sign off I just want to thank all of my lovely readers. March marked the one year anniversary for LivinginMakeup and I want to take the opportunity to thank everyone for reading and commenting. I've fallen in love with blogging and the blogging community. Everyone is so supportive and it's meant so much. I lost someone very close to me last month and I was once again reminded just how supportive you all are.

Wow, that got very serious very quickly. I'm going to go before this turns into a massively emotional post! Leave me a comment telling me what you've been loving during March.

Thanks for reading,
Avani
xoxo
