I'm a big fan of Max Factor makeup. Their eyeshadow and mascara offerings are some of the best at the drugstore. However, their cheek products never really stood out to me, until now.
Recently, they released their Creme Puff Blushes (£8.99 each) which are a baked blush that also highlights the cheeks. The line contains 6 blushes but the shade Gorgeous Berries 30 immediately grabbed my attention. It's exactly as it sounds; a truly gorgeous intense berry with a slight golden shimmer running through it.
The texture of this blush is like silk. It goes on so smoothly and evenly and is a dream to blend. Gorgeous Berries in particular is very pigmented but it's also easy to sheer out. It looks quite intimidating in the swatch, but I promise, once blended onto the cheeks, you're left with a really natural flush of colour.

Although it does contain shimmer, it's not obnoxious. It simply imparts a very natural healthy glow to cheeks in one sweep. My favourite way to apply this blush is with the Real Techniques Nic's Picks Cheek Brush. The shape of the brush allows your to precisely apply the blush, but also blend at the same time.
Overall, I am really impressed with the new Max Factor Creme Puff Blushes. I only have the one but I will definitely be purchasing some more shades soon. Let me know if you'd be interested in a swatch post when I do.
What are your thoughts on the new Max Factor blushes. What's your favourite shade?
