Tried and Tested: L'oreal Telescopic Mascara

L'oreal Telescopic Mascara (£10.99) has been on my radar for a long time so I was very excited to finally try it.

This is a very lengthening mascara. If you have quite short lashes, then this is the mascara for you. It's also great if your lashes don't hold a curl; I didn't even curl mine and is seemed to lift them.

As you can see, the wand is very skinny and plastic. This enables you to get all inner and outer lashes. It gives amazing definition purely because the wand grabs onto every lash. I really like the formula of this mascara too; it's quite wet and it doesn't dry out quickly. It lasts all day on my lashes and doesn't flake off but it's not a pain to remove. It comes off really easily with a basic eye makeup remover.

Before
After (2 coats)
I really like this mascara but it's not one I would wear on it's own. Whilst it gives fantastic length, I personally need a bit more volume. This mascara works really well with the Max Factor False Lash Effect mascara. I like to do one coat of Max Factor and one coat of L'oreal and my lashes look unreal. Lots of volume and length. If you have both of these mascaras, try the combination because they work really well together. I would repurchase this mascara because it is a really nice every day mascara but if you pair it with a more voluminous mascara, you can get a really dramatic look.

What are your thoughts on this mascara?

Thanks for reading,
Avani
