Easy Bronze Summer Makeup Look

I've got a super easy and fast bronze summer look for you today. Let's get started.

The focus of this look is the face but since it is summer, I wanted to keep it light. I used the Bourjois 123 Perfect CC Cream and the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer. To apply these I used the Real Techniques Sponge and the Real Techniques Setting Brush. Using a sponge will help achieve that flawless but natural look.

To bronze up the face, I used the Bourjois Bronzing Primer. I was really scared to use this because it's a cream bronzer and looks terrifying in the pot! However, it gives such a beautiful sun kissed look to the skin. I applied this starting on the perimeter of the face, bronzing up the skin where the sun would naturally hit me. To apply the bronzer I really recommend using the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush. It's a bit more dense and stiff which I find really helps blend the product evenly. I did use the Contour Brush from Real Techniques originally but the Expert Face Brush works much better. I didn't do any contouring because I want this to be a really natural sun kissed look. After using the cream bronzer, I went over it with a powder bronzer. I used the Bourjois Chocolate Bronzer. This helps set everything in place and just slowly builds up the bronze look.

For blush, I used Mac's 'Peachykeen' which is perfect for this look. It does the whole warm up the complexion thing. I'm a sucker for those blushes. I very lightly dusted this across the cheekbones. Before moving onto the eyes, I do recommend using your sponge (or whatever you used for foundation) to go over the face. This makes sure everything is really well blended.

I kept the eyes really simple. Using a fluffy brush, dip it into your powder bronzer and any pink champagne shadow you have, I used Urban Decay's 'Sin'. Dust this all over the eye blending as you go. This creates a beautiful bronze eye that is perfect day or night. To add bit of definition to the lash line, use any black eyeshadow and angled brush and line very close to the lashline. Finish off with your favourite mascara and you're done!

You can pair any lip with this look and it would look good. I used the Revlon Lip Butter in 'Wild Watermelon' with the Revlon Lip Gloss in 'Kiss Me Coral'. I am loving this combination at the moment. It's perfect for summer!

So that's my bronze summer makeup look! You can use any products you have to achieve it, although I would recommend a cream bronzer. It really helps add a natural sun kissed glow to the skin.

Avani
