My 2018 Goals: Did I Achieve Them?

Follow my blog with Bloglovin

In January I posted about the things I wanted to achieve in 2018. With only a few days left of the year, I thought it would interesting to look back and see whether I actually achieved them.

Just like the original post, I think I'll start with the big one.

Get My Health Back: Yes (and no)

In a perfect world, I'd love to say that I am fully healed and recovered. Unfortunately, that's not quite the case. However, I have come a bloody long way in the last year. I've been having weekly therapy sessions which have helped massively. I'm making really good progress and I'm cautiously optimistic that the next year will be a better one for my health. So, although I'm not fully recovered, I'm quite proud of the progress I've made.

Master Liquid Liner: Complete Fail

This one does make me laugh. I can't even remember wearing liquid liner this year so I'm a long way off mastering it. Maybe I'll do better in 2019?

I'm happy to say that I have actually been posting more on Instagram. Perhaps not quite as much as I should be, but enough for me to enjoy it without worrying about the numbers. I've actually really enjoyed posting about my house renovation. I think following so many interior accounts inspired me to share the journey. I will definitely be doing posts on it next year because it's been an eye opening experience.

Go Out More: Yes

Last year I barely left the house. I was so determined to change that in 2018, and I'm so glad I've actually done it. The renovations definitely got me out of my comfort zone and forced me to go out more, and I'm so glad it did. I really want to keep up the momentum now the house is done.

All in all, I'm quite pleased that I've managed to achieve most of these goals. I'm not sure I'll do a post about my 2019 goals because to be honest, I don't know what they are. I feel like the next year is a bit of a wide open book. I truly don't know what it has in store for me and that's both terrifying and exciting in equal measures. One thing's for sure, I hope I can get back to blogging more often!

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and I wish a very happy new year!
