My Favourite Online Beauty Shops

J'adore Dior Perfume

There are so many places that I shop online for beauty, I thought why not make it into a post and share my favourite ones and any tips I have for those websites.

If you're a blogger, you'll probably know all the websites I'm going to be talking about. But if you're not, then I'm hoping this will be quite useful. Whenever I recommend products to friends and family, the first thing I'm asked is where to buy them, so that's exactly what this post is going to cover.

I've made it a habit to buy all of my French pharmacy skincare from escentual.com. Not only do they stock most French pharmacy brands, such as La Roche Posay, Vichy, Bioderma and Nuxe, but they also run a third off their French pharmacy every few months. The last one was in January so by my calculations, the next one will be in April.  I highly recommend taking advantage of the third off offer because it's such a great deal. If you want to know which products I love, I have a series of posts all about them. Escentual also has a loyalty scheme called Pretty Pennies which allows you to automatically build up points with each purchase. You can then spend the points on any further orders and choose how much you want to apply. I love that because the site stocks loads of other brands like Chloe, Bumble and Bumble and Dior.

Victoria Health is a seriously underrated website. They stock well known brands like Sarah Chapman, Real Techniques and Neom, as well as many many more. They also house brands for health as well as beauty, so there's something for everyone. I love that they stock Tweezy which is one of best beauty tools out there. It's a long coil with two ends that you twist and it mimics the action of threading, perfect for removing unwanted facial hair. Victoria Health also has a membership scheme which costs £25 for a year. With that you get priority shipping and discounts off most of the products on their site. I've saved a lot of money with it and if you use the website a lot, it's worth considering. Their customer service is also excellent. Everyone I've spoken to has always been so nice and helpful. No waiting around for someone to pick up the phone and no rude staff to deal with.

FeelUnique stocks every brand under the sun, I swear. That's why I love them. They carry brands like Rimmel and NYX as well as high end brands like YSL and Chanel. They also run offers quite frequently, whether it's a 3 for 2 on a drugstore brand, or 15% off all makeup. There's always a deal to be done. I  also think it's quite clever that you have the option to set a rolling repurchase so you never run out of your favourite products.

Beauty Bay is the UK home for Makeup Geek, so you can imagine how much I shop there. They also stock brands such as Morphe and Anastasia Beverly Hills as well as Zoeva and Alpha H. They offer brilliant delivery options too.

I think Cult Beauty is really unique because all the products are hand selected by the team. That means everything on the site, is pretty much beauty addict approved. They also collaborate with Caroline Hirons to create skincare boxes which I hear are amazing. The brands they carry do tend to be on the more expensive side of things, but as the name suggests, they're cult. I also like that they have a little survey to find out about your beauty preferences and what brands you want them to stock. Those personal touches are important. Make sure you add in your birthday if you create an account so you get 15% off during your birthday month. Now that's a damn good present.

I have to admit, I do most of my beauty shopping online as I rarely get the chance to go shopping due to my chronic illness. That being said, I do quite like doing a bit of shopping on the sofa in my pjs with a glass of wine. It's the simple things in life.

What's your favourite online beauty shop?
