Monthly Roundup: October 2017

I can't believe that there are only two months left of the year. It feels as if it was just last week that I was doing my September roundup. How is it already time for my October post?!

I finally got my hands on The Ordinary's Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution. I've only been using it for about 10 days, but it's already made such a difference. My skin is much smoother and looks brighter. I have high hopes for this, so look out for a review in the next few months.

My next favourite is the Rodial Super Acids X-treme Acid Rush Peel Mask. Although I personally don't think this is worth the price for the full size, I've still been enjoying it. It does the job and it feels light and cooling on the skin. My skin does feel much smoother when I use it. I still don't think it's worth £85, but I've enjoyed using it, especially recently.

The Niod Fractionated Eye Contour Concentrate has been a staple in my routine for over a year, but this month in particular, it's been a firm favourite. I've been getting a lot of irritation around my eyes and my skin has been quite sore. One drop of this and all that goes away. It's magical.

I don't know what's gotten into me, but the candle obsession has begun. I've never been a candle person until recently. My current favourite is The Abstract Bee Sandalwood and Vanilla Candle*. Not only does it look beautiful, but it smells divine. It has a lovely warm sweet scent that's not too heavy or sickly. I love it.

I've been watching The Last Post this month and it's so good. It's a BBC six part drama set in the 1960's in Aden following a base of the Royal Military Police. The acting is brilliant and each episode is a roller coaster. I'm looking forward to seeing how it ends this Sunday.
