Winter Lip Edit

I'm really excited about this post. It combines two of my favourite things, winter and lipsticks. If you didn't know, I'm a lipstick addict so this was a real treat to write. I've got a whole bunch of lip products to share with you that are just perfect for this time of year.

Revlon Ultra HD Iris:

Iris is such a stunning colour. It's a pinky berry lipstick that looks incredible on the lips. The formula is very creamy and hydrating, which does make it a little messy to apply and sometimes wear, but it's worth it. I love the versatility of this shade because of its moisturising formula. You can use it to satin the lips or even apply it very lightly as a cream blusher. The possibilities are endless with this lipstick and for £7.99, it's a bit of a bargain!

MAC Plumful:

Plumful has a bit of a cult status around it and for good reason. It's a sheer (but still pigmented) plum with hints of pink that make it oh so wearable. You can wear it with any look and it's such an effortless lipstick. You don't have to think when applying it and you instantly look put together. I love lipsticks like that.

Revlon Lip Butter Sugar Plum:

Another plum, but this one looks nothing like Plumful. Sugar Plum is a lot more sheer and has a little less pink in it. It's a 'my lips but one shade darker' kind of lipstick and is the ultimate low maintenance, easy everyday lipstick. That was a mouthful!

Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Glastonberry:

Glastonberry is another lipstick that has earned cult status. It's one of the stand out and most recognisable products from the Charlotte Tilbury range. The shade is a true dark vampy berry that's completely matte. Despite being matte, it's very forgiving on the lips and doesn't emphasise any flaws or texture. It's beautiful and a real statement lip. It would look incredible applied full on with very little else on the face. I just love the look of a bold lip with minimal makeup.

Bourjois Rouge Edition Frambourjoise:

I like to call this the berry lipstick for people who don't like berry lipstick. With subtle hints of mauve, it's very wearable for everyday. The formula is matte, but non drying and it feels so lightweight.

KIKO 313 Lip Liner:

This may be a lip liner, but it deserves to be worn on its own. It's such a pretty vibrant berry. You can pair it with any berry lipstick and it would add more dimension. The formula is very creamy and I've never tried a lip liner that applies as smoothly as this. I absolutely love it.

You may have noticed that I haven't included a red lip. If I'm honest, I don't wear red lipstick that much. I just don't think it suits me and I'd much prefer a berry lip over a red one. I know red lips are very popular this time of year, especially with Christmas coming up, but it's berry lips all the way for me!

What's your favourite winter lipstick?

Thanks for reading,
Avani
