Monthly Favourites: December 2016
With the end of the year fast approaching, I thought I'd better get on and do my December favourites!
I've spent most of the month makeup free, but there have been days where I've made a bit of effort using some rather wonderful products.
First up is the Clarins Beauty Flash Balm. It's perfect for makeup and no makeup days alike and leaves the skin looking so radiant. It really livens dull skin and believe me, I need all the help I can get!
On the days I did wear makeup, I pretty much only used the Charlotte Tilbury Dolce Vita eyeshadow palette. This is basically Christmas in a palette. I adore how festive it is. It's very warm toned, and that gold glitter makes my heart beat a little bit faster. Is that weird? Probably.
Similarly to Dolce Vita, is Becca's Shimmering Skin Perfector in Champagne Pop. It's the most intense highlighter I own and I love it. It's easy to blend and although it's very bold, it's not obnoxious.
MAC Plumful has been my lipstick of choice this month, and for good reason. It's a sheer moisturising plum that looks very natural. Perfect for minimal makeup days. Finally for makeup is the Max Factor Creme Puff Blush in Gorgeous Berries. I recently rediscovered it and remembered just how much I enjoy the natural berry tones.
My blogger of the month is Charlotte Oates from Charlotte's Lively Kitchen. I stumbled across her blog earlier this month whilst searching for a Yorkshire Pudding recipe. Having made them twice, I can honestly say they are incredible. Super light and fluffy and so easy to make. After the success of that recipe, I've bookmarked so many more to try!
So that's the last monthly favourites of the year done! I want to apologise for the lack of content over the past week. I'd intended to have content ready to go, but for about two weeks, all of my photos have turned out grainy. It's been a nightmare to try and figure out why and I'm not really any closer. One day they were fine, the next, all grain. I'm trying my best but please bear with me. It's actually really frustrating because I had so much festive content written! Hopefully I'll sort it out soon!
What have you been loving this month?
Thanks for reading,
Avani

If you use a light hand and wear minimal eye makeup, you totally can! It's a lot lighter when on too. More of a lighter berry! x
