Drugstore Favourite: Rimmel Kate Moss Sculpting Palette
I know, I have a problem. Sculpting palettes are taking over my eyeshadow obsession. But this one has a peachy blush and golden highlight so that's the perfect excuse, right?
The Rimmel Kate Moss Sculpting Palette in Golden Bronze is really something special. The blusher is the most stunning peachy pink with golden shimmer running through it. It brightens up the complexion, whilst still being very natural.
The golden highlight is very soft and easy to work with. The shimmer is refined and not at all chunky or glittery. It's not showing up properly in the swatch, but it's the ideal highlight for natural makeup days. It subtle but it still offers a lovely glow. The contour shade is also surprisingly good. First of all, it's completely matte which is always a good thing for a contour. It's also quite ashy so it mimics the shadows on your face.
All three powders have a very soft smooth texture. They're not the most pigmented, but I think that works well in this case. You can build up the pigmentation slowly and it's a good palette for beginners. The highlight and contour shades last all day and I get about 4-5 hours out of the blush. That doesn't bother me too much though, since it's very easy to reapply.
I definitely recommend this palette, and am very interested in the other shade variant. The shades have been well thought out and go together so well. It's a great addition to any collection and at £6.99, it's a bit of a bargain.
What's your favourite sculpting palette?
