Review: Charlotte Tilbury Lipstick and Lip Liner

Following on from my Charlotte Tilbury Eyeshadow Quad post, today I'm reviewing one of the lipsticks and one of the lip liners. 

The lipstick I purchased was Glastonberry which is from the Matte Revolution line. It's the most gorgeous rich berry purple that's perfect for winter. That being said, you could easily sheer it out and wear it more like a stain. The formula is so creamy that it just glides onto the lips without pulling or dragging. Despite being matte, it doesn't emphasise dry patches or dry out the lips. Glastonberry is such a classic shade that would look amazing with simple eye makeup, lots of mascara and a flawless glowy base.

I also bought Pillow Talk Lip Cheat Lip Liner which is a product beloved by bloggers and I can see why. The formula is creamy and it applies very smoothly. Pillow Talk is a soft pink that suits so many complexions. It looks gorgeous on its own or under lipsticks. One of my favourite ways to wear it is all over the lips, topped with Soap and Glory's Nudist Lip Crayon. Pillow Talk is the type of colour that would pair well with any makeup look. You can very easily re-shape the lip with this liner and when used all over, it really does make them look fuller. 

I definitely recommend both of these lip products. I was actually pleasantly surprised by the price of each. The lipstick is £23 and the lip liner £16. Considering that this is a luxury line, I think that's quite reasonable, and the quality is superior to other products at a similar price. I'm very impressed with everything I've tried so far from Charlotte Tilbury. I can't wait to get my hands on more....
