Lanolips 101 Ointment: Better than Nuxe Reve De Miel?

I love trying new lip balms, if only to compare them to my beloved Nuxe Reve De Miel. The Lanolips 101 Ointment is such a cult product that I thought if anything could give Nuxe a run for its money, it's this.

Lanolips 101 Ointment (£7.99-£10.99) is another one of those multi purpose balms that can be used anywhere, although I only use it on the lips. It's extremely thick to the point where it can be a little tricky to squeeze out of the tube. Since it is so thick, it makes for a great lip balm. It's very nourishing and keeps the lips hydrated, even on a 12 hour flight.

It's as if Nuxe Reve De Miel and Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream had a lip balm baby, and created Lanolips 101 Ointment. It's thick like the Nuxe balm, and a little bit emollient like 8 Hour Cream. The packaging is nice and simple but it can be a little tricky to apply straight from the tube. I do prefer the packaging of this to Reve De Miel because it's more hygienic. That being said, it doesn't beat Nuxe for me. It's a good lip balm that I would totally recommend, especially for on the go or if your lips are incredibly chapped and sore. It coats them really well and feels soothing and comfortable without being heavy and thick.

What's your favourite lip balm?

Thanks for reading,
