Winter 2015 Skincare Routine

I haven't done a skincare routine in ages and whilst somethings are still the same, I have added and changed a few things in my regime.

Morning:

Una Brennan Rose Creamy Cleanser- This is honestly one the best cleansers I've tried. I use it most mornings and you'll probably find it in most of my skincare routines. I do alternate between this and La Roche Posay's Toleriane Dermo Cleanser* which is very good for sensitive skin.

Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Complex II Eye Serum- I think this is a great little eye cream that does everything I want it to. It's very hydrating and feels lovely under the eyes. I previously used the Innovative Skincare Restorative Eye Complex which is definitely my favourite eye cream, but sadly it's been discontinued.

Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Complex II Serum- My skin hasn't been as dehydrated as normal so I've stuck to my Estee Lauder serum. This is a really reliable option and I'd recommend it for all skin types and for those who don't which serum to go for. I've recommended it to so many people and they agree that it works very well and gives the skin a lovely glow and healthy look/feel.

Yes to Carrots Day Cream- I don't have a lot to say about this one. I've been pretty loyal to it for about a year because it does exactly what it says on the tube. It's hydrating without being greasy or heavy.

Night:

Clinique Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm- This is a very good basic cleansing balm. It has no scent, turns into an oil really nicely and doesn't leave the skin feeling greasy or stripped. To take of my makeup, I normally use The Body Shop Camomile Cleansing Oil which melts all the makeup off effortlessly.

Pixi Glow Tonic- I am just obsessed with this toner. It's so good at exfoliating the skin in a completely gentle yet effective way. As the name suggests, it makes my skin glow.

I also use the Estee Lauder Eye Serum and the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum at night. I typically use one pump of Advanced Night Repair and pat that into the skin after using my toner.

La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo Plus- I don't think I'll ever stop using this. I know that's quite a grand sweeping statement, but when my skin is all over the place and I'm breaking out, this is the one product that really makes a difference. I definitely recommend it if you suffer from frequent breakouts because I haven't tried anything as good as this at keeping them at bay.

Trilogy Rose Oil- I use three drops at night to deeply hydrate my skin. It's so nourishing and comforting on the skin which is perfect for this time of year. It's hydrating enough for me not to need a more intense serum and so far, I haven't had any major dry patches or dehydration since I started using this.

So that's my skincare routine done! There won't be a new post on Friday so have a lovely Christmas filled with friends, family and lots of good food!

Thanks for reading,
Avani
xoxo
