La Roche Posay Toleriane Review*

La Roche Posay has such a great range of products for different skin concerns. I always recommend them to friends and family because there really is a product for everyone. I was recently sent two products from their Toleriane range and once again, I'm reminded why I love the brand. 

Toleriane is designed for people with very sensitive intolerant skin. It's supposed to calm the skin and be really comforting. As far as I'm aware, all of the products within the range are alcohol, preservative and fragrance free.

Toleriane Dermo Cleanser (£11)*

I typically prefer oil based cleansers as I find they're better at removing makeup but was pleasantly surprised by this. It's a very light lotion like texture that breaks down makeup beautifully. It doesn't sting the eyes which is great because it means I can get right into the lashes and remove every inch of liner. Dermo Cleanser doesn't strip the skin, nor does it leave behind any kind of residue. It also works well as a regular cleanser in the morning because it isn't too intense. You only need a small amount and can remove it either with a cotton pad or, as I like to remove it, with a face cloth. I'm really impressed with it and alternate using it in the morning with my beloved Una Brennan Rose Creamy Cleanser. 

Toleriane Ultra (£17.50)*

Toleriane Ultra really does provide intense moisture to the skin in the most light weight non offencive way possible. I can't quite believe how light it is on the skin considering it contains Shea Butter. You can use this moisturiser morning and evening on your face and neck. I like to use this on days where I've put my skin through a lot because it brings everything right back down to base and feels so soothing. Unless your skin doesn't like Shea Butter, I think this would be suitable for everyone because it gives a good dose of hydration without being greasy or heavy. 

Overall, I'm very impressed with the Toleriane range from La Roche Posay and would definitely recommend it if you have sensitive skin.
