It recently struck me that I haven't done an underrated beauty post for ages! Today, I'm talking about fragrances from The Body Shop.
I've been a huge fan of The Body Shop fragrances for a really long time. They've got an incredible range of scents at great prices. I've bought so many over the years and despite them being pretty amazing, I don't hear anyone talk about them. They last really well on the skin and I usually find they linger on my clothes too. Some of my favourites are:
Japanese Cherry Blossom- A very floral but slightly sweet perfume that's quite light and fresh. It's more of a Spring/Summer fragrance but I wear this all year round. It's on a similar vein to Daisy Eau So Fresh by Marc Jacobs but Cherry Blossom is a bit sweeter and lighter. I believe it has notes of Star Jasmine and Magnolia.
Fijian Water Lotus- This is such a hard fragrance to describe! As the name would suggest, it's very summery and refreshing. It's perfect to take with you on holiday. It has notes of Mandarin, Fijian Water Lotus Flower and Rose, so it's not overly sweet which I love.
White Gardenia- This is my favourite perfume from The Body Shop but sadly, they no longer sell it. It's a beautiful delicate floral that's very sophisticated. I can't remember what the notes are but I love it! I use this sparingly now since it is discontinued.
Moroccan Rose- I'd say that this fragrance is more of an evening scent as it's a little bit heavier than the others. I personally don't find it overly rosy. I think this one is still sold but in a set with a few other products. Anyway, if you prefer slightly more masculine scents but you still want something feminine, this one is perfect!
On the whole, I've loved most of the fragrances I've bought from The Body Shop. I definitely recommend them if you're in the market for a new perfume but don't want to break the bank.
Have you tried any fragrances from The Body Shop?
Thanks for reading,
Avani
xoxo
