
I'm finally starting to feel better. I'm having more and more good days where the pain isn't so bad and I'm not exhausted all the time. I started the Perrin Technique in December, so it's been a very long process but everything is moving in the right direction. I still have days where I feel unwell, but they're not as bad as they used to be. Last week was the first time in 4 years I was able to go out and not be in any pain. That's mind blowing for me. I feel good inside, now that I can see that this treatment is working and that there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
As I get better, I'm hoping to take this blog further and do more with it. I've had so many ideas for blog posts that haven't materialised because I've not been well enough. Over the next few months I'm really hoping that is going to change. I am still undergoing treatment which will continue until I'm completely better, but things are finally looking up for my health and it feels pretty great. The main reason I share details about my chronic illness is because it might help others going through something similar. Before I started blogging, I had no idea that there were other people going through the same thing. It made me feel less alone. If you are going through a rough time, health related or not, hang in there. Things will get better, just keep smiling and remember that you're never alone.
