Get That Glow

Today's post is going to be about how to achieve that beautiful summer glow. I'll be going through the products I like to use when I want my skin to look really glowy. Let's face it, that's everyday.

Clarins Beauty Flash Balm:

This is probably my most used makeup product and for good reason. A pea size amount all over the face gives the skin a beautiful radiance without any shimmer or glitter. I use it under foundation and it's perfect for those dull skin days. I even use it when I'm not wearing any other makeup because it really perks up the complexion.

Bourjois 123 Perfect CC Cream:

When trying to achieve a summer glow, I think it's better to keep the base light. The Bourjois CC Cream is perfect for this because it adds coverage but is very light on the skin. It offers a satin finish and since it's a CC cream, the different pigments help brighten the skin adding to that healthy glowing finish.

Mac Hush Cream Colour Base:

If you really want to amp up the glow, I highly recommend using a cream highlighter. Mac's Hush Cream Colour Base is perfect for that because it leaves the cheeks looking so dewy. It doesn't contain any shimmer but it catches the light really nicely and is another fail safe product when trying to achieve that summer glow.

Max Factor Creme Puff Blushes:

I can't and won't shut up about these blushes. They're great for adding a natural flush of colour and giving you a boost of radiance. Although they do contain shimmer, it's not obnoxious or too obvious.

Extra: The Balm Mary Lou Manizer:

This highlighter on the other hand is all of those things and I love it!  I wouldn't use it with the previous two products because that would be way too much. Instead, I like to use it on days when I want to get that glow with just one product. Used very lightly on the tops of the cheekbones, down the bridge of the nose and on the Cupid's bow gives such a beautiful and surprisingly natural glow.

So those are all my favourite products for getting that gorgeous summer glow. Let me know what yours are!

Thanks for reading,
Avani
