Hidden Beauty Gems

I got the inspiration for this post from a recent #bbloggers chat on Twitter. I loved the theme, sharing those hidden beauty gems that no one seems to talk about, and decided to make a post out of it.

Skincare:

La Roche Posay is a brand often raved about but their Cicaplast Hand Cream is one that seems to go unnoticed. This is the best hand cream I've ever tried. It's very healing and hydrating and gets absorbed immediately. What more could we ask for in a hand cream?

Body:

The Dermasuri Exfoliating Mitt is hands down the best exfoliator. I've raved about this so many times so I won't bore you another mini review. Let's just say that if you want an easy body exfoliator that will give you smooth skin for 2 weeks, look this way.

Makeup:

A lot of my makeup purchases are influenced by the blogosphere but occasionally, I do pick things up on a whim that are fantastic. One such item is the Sleek Blush in 'Flushed.' I know what you're thinking, a Sleek blush, that's one of the most hyped about drugstore products. However, the shade 'Flushed' is very underrated and it's the most natural everyday colour. It works on all skin tones and the texture is very creamy.

My two final products are both opposite price points. Let's start with Mac's Hush Cream Colour Base. This is such a beautiful highlight. It gives the most stunning glow to the cheeks without looking heavy and it not shimmery or glittery in the slightest. Give it a swatch next time your near a Mac Store.

Finally, we have the Barry M Kohl eyeliners which are my favourite basic eyeliners. They're soft but firm, long lasting and come is some beautiful colours. For £2.99, you can't go wrong!

Those are all of my hidden gems! I hope you enjoyed this post and if you did, let me know if it's something you want me to do again.

What are your favourite hidden beauty gems?

Thanks for reading,
Avani
xoxo
