Tried and Tested: Una Brennan Superfacialist Salicylic Acid Anti Blemish Clay Mask

Una Brennan keeps hitting it out of the park. If you're after good skincare on a budget, she is where it's at. Today I'm raving about her Salicylic Acid Anti Blemish Clay Mask (£8.99).

Where to begin? Firstly, it clears everything up. If you're skin is congested and breaking out, this will draw all of the dirt out. I noticed a massive difference after my first use, but with continuous use, my skin is clearer and brighter. It draws everything bad out of the skin whilst keeping it hydrated.

The salicylic acid gently exfoliates and smooths the skin whilst also aiding any breakouts. If you have dry skin, you can still use this because it contains honey. Honey is very hydrating, as well as being naturally anti bacterial.

Now if you remember, I also use the Tea Flower Clay Mask by Una Brennan. They are very similar but if I'm honest, this is better. It just seems to be that little bit more effective. I think from now on, I will be sticking with this one. It does make the skin feel tight whilst using it, something I didn't experience from Tea Flower, however, I can live with that. It doesn't effect the result and certainly doesn't leave a tight feeling after you remove it.

I take a medium sized blob and layer it all over the face. I add a bit more to my chin and cheeks if I'm feeling particularly congested and spotty. Leave it on for 5-15 minutes and remove with a damp face cloth. It's very easy to remove. You don't have to spend ages standing there removing it like some clay masks.

I adore this mask and I highly recommend it. Una Brennan, the love affair continues….

Thanks for reading,
Avani
