Tried and Tested: Fudge Urban Crisp Pear and Sweet Vanilla Dry Shampoo

I love my Klorane dry shampoo but I'm always looking for new ones. After reading a lot of good things about Fudge Haircare as a brand, I thought I'd give their dry shampoo a go.

I'm going to start with the good things because that's always nice. It's a really big bottle and it's only £5.99. That's about it.

My major problem with this dry shampoo is that it really triggered my asthma. I have never had a problem with anything hair related triggering my asthma before this, not even hairspray. I'm not sure what it is, maybe the scent? It smells ok, but not as nice as it sounds in all honestly.

In terms of it actually working, I'd say it did an alright job. Better than Batiste, not as good as Klorane. It comes out white, which doesn't really bother me, but it does leave white bits behind in the hair. I feel like you really have to work at it to get rid of the white bits. Once you've done that, it does leave your hair looking cleaner. It's not one to leave it looking worse, which is definitely more than I can say for the Batiste and Dove ones. One thing that does bother me is that even after washing my hair with a clarifying shampoo, I still had white bits left. It went away after a few washes but it was a bit annoying to have that feeling despite washing my hair well.

I honestly don't know whether or not to recommend it to you guys. It triggered my asthma quite badly so if you are asthmatic, stay away from it. If not, then it's probably worth a go. I won't be using mine up. For now, I'm sticking to Klorane.

What's your favourite dry shampoo?

Thanks for reading,
Avani
