Revlon Cheeks and Lips

Revlon is probably one of my favourite drugstore brands; they're a good all round brand but I particularly love their cheek and lip options.

Firstly, their cream blushes (£7.99) are amazing; I have the shade Charmed Enchantment, a mauvey pink that looks great on all complexions. The formula of these are wonderful too. They're creamy to apply and blend but set more like a powder so they'd work well on an oily skin. I like to use my Real Techniques Stipling Brush with this because it gives me more control over the product than my fingers do. They have a good colour range too and I definitely want to try more.

Next is their Highlighting Palette in Bronze Glow (£8.99). I love using this to give my skin that healthy sun kissed glow without using bronzer. It is shimmery but it doesn't come off that way on the skin. In comparison to the Bobbi Brown Shimmer Bricks, I would say these are little less highlightery and better at warming up the complexion. They have one other shade, Rose Glow, but when swatched in store, I preferred this one. I think Bronze Glow is a more universal colour too. I like to apply it with my Duo Fibre Face Brush from Real Techniques.

If there's one thing Revlon do well, its lip products. They have pretty much every finish you could imagine and are usually the first drugstore brand to recreate what high end brands offer. Today I'm focusing on lip glosses and I love the Super Lustrous Lipgloss (£6.99) range. I have the shades 'Kiss me Coral' and 'Fatal Apple'.

'Kiss me Coral'
'Fatal Apple'

Both have good colour pay off; I'd say these glosses are a nice mid point in terms of pigment- you can tell you're wearing colour but it's not full on opaque. They feel really moisturising too but the best thing about these glosses is that they are not at all sticky! I hate sticky glosses with a passion! The lasting power of these aren't too bad either and they're very handbag friendly.

If you are by a Revlon counter then definitely check out their cheek and lip offerings- there's something to suit everyone!

What do you recommend from Revlon? I'd love to know!

Thanks for reading,
Avani
