Review: Rimmel Kate Moss Matte Collection

Matte lips were always something I'd been afraid of. I used to assume that if it's matte, it's drying on the lips. However, the Kate Moss Matte lipstick collection from Rimmel proved me wrong.

These beauties are extremely pigmented and surprisingly smooth. I have two shades; 'Kiss of Life 111,' a gorgeous red with orange undertones and '107,' a beautiful berry.

Both shades are pretty universal and would suit many complexions. 'Kiss of Life' is perfect for spring/summer and the slight orange lean makes it very on trend. Although '107' is more of a winter shade, I think you can get away with it all year round. You can apply it as a stain during the day and build it up to be really vampy at night.

The line claims to wear for up to 8 hours on the lips. I wouldn't say it lasts as long as that but it does last longer than a glossy formula. Once faded, they leave behind a beautiful stain and don't go patchy on the lips.

I highly recommend these lipsticks. They are non drying, come in a variety of pigmented colours and are super affordable, retailing at £5.49. You can buy them at Boots and Superdrug or online.

Have you tried this line? I'd love to know your thoughts.

Thanks for reading,
Avani
