If I could only use one range of blushes, or even one blush, it would be from Hourglass. Over the last few years, they've revolutionised blush. Gone are the days of flat blushes that look dull and harsh. Now we have a much more sophisticated elegant formula in their Ambient Lighting and Strobe Lighting range.
The iconic marbled designed of each blush is not just for appearance. Each blush is marbled with one of their famous powders to create a finely milled, soft focus flush of colour. Because of that, no two pans are alike. The subtle shimmer catches the light to liven the complexion and make your skin glow. Having tried both the Ambient Lighting blushes (mixed with the Ambient Lighting powders) and the Strobe Lighting blushes (mixed with the Strobe Lighting powders) I honestly can't fault either. Both powders are really soft and easy to blend and look so natural on the cheeks.
I think Mood Exposure (Ambient Lighting blush) is probably my favourite shade as it's so wearable. It's a natural mauve that pairs well with every makeup look. I also adore Brilliant Nude and Euphoric Fusion which are both Strobe Lighting blushes. Hourglass have stolen my heart when it comes to blushes and there's no turning back now.
