Monthly Favourites: September 2016

I'm a bit late to the game with this months favourite's, but better late than never!

My skin has been breaking out like nobody business, so I've been relying on La Roche Posay's Effaclar Duo Plus to sort it out. I use this after my serum, but before my moisturiser both morning and night. It works by fighting breakouts and fading any marks. Honestly, I think everyone should try this at least once because you get results so quickly.

The Niod Fractionated Eye Contour Concentration is my latest skincare addition. It's essentially an eye oil which is incredibly hydrating and does a damn good job at fighting puffiness. I do have a review coming up this week, so stay tuned for that.

I am absolutely obsessed with the Rimmel Kate Moss Sculpting Trio in Golden Bronze. It's an easy to use palette and the formula of all three shades is spot on. I adore the peachy golden blush as it perks up the complexion and is perfect for adding a bit of life back into the skin. The highlight is also a great alternative to The Balm's MaryLou Manizer.

Would you believe I've been getting into painting my nails again?! Something about Autumn makes me want to douse my nails in berry tones. I've really only been using one colour which is the Barry M Daylight Curing Polish in Fuchsia Generation. It's a berry toned fuchsia that's the perfect shade for Autumn. The formula is really creamy and goes opaque in one coat, although I always do two. If you use the matching top coat, I find it lasts about 5 days before any chips start showing up. Not quite gel manicure standards as they claim, but excellent nonetheless. To go with my nail polish I've been relying on the Bourjois Instant Dry Drops. A drop on each nail and you are good to go. Ideal for impatient people like myself.

My blogger/vlogger of the month are The Michalaks. I've been watching them for years and it's been lovely to watch their videos grow to what they are. Stef is a genius when it comes to filming and editing. His shots are just breathtaking and get better and better with each week. Hannah is lovely and their 2 year old son Grayson is adorable. Although I've never met them, you can tell how sweet a family they are. I also love how they've remained true to themselves and don't censor out their humour. Some may find it a bit controversial, but if you've been watching them for a while, you'll know how kind they are. I really respect them and hope they continue making videos.

So that's it for another month. Can you believe it's already October?! I love this time of year when the weather gets colder and days get shorter!

What have you been loving during September?

Thanks for reading,
Avani
xoxo
