Nail Polish Haul
I'm finally back! After two weeks of no new content, I'm back. Apologies for that, I've just been so uninspired as of late and sometimes a couple weeks break is necessary to get those creative juices flowing again! I've recently been getting into nail polish and went on a little spree so let's get haulin'!
Barry M Nail Paint in Raspberry- A beautiful creamy berry red. I absolutely love this because it goes with everything and is a really elegant colour.
Barry M Nail Paint in Bright Purple- I'd say that this is a Spring time purple. It's not dark, but not too light and I think it would make a nice change to all the pinks and pastels. It does seem to be showing up a bit darker on camera.
Barry M Gelly Nail Paint in Blue Grape- I've always wanted to try blue nail polish but didn't want to spend too much. This shade is a gorgeous royal blue that I'm very excited to wear come Spring.
Berry M Gelly Nail Paint in Plum- Boring name aside, this is a lovely plum. It's wonderfully dark but not so dark that you can't tell it's purple.
Barry M Gelly Nail Paint in Pomegranate- A lovely mid toned pink that I'm not going to lie, doesn't really resemble pomegranates. It's a beautiful shade and the kind of colour I'd wear all through summer.
Rimmel 60 Second Super Shine in Gimme Some Of That- This is really similar to the Barry M nail polish but I think Rimmel's is ever so slightly darker. Either way, I love the colour.
Rimmel 60 Second Super Shine in Black Cherries- I think this one is more of an aubergine shade with a red shimmer running through it. In some lights it looks black, in others more red and in some, straight up dark purple. I really like that the shimmer is quite refined and subtly catches the light.
Rimmel 60 Second Super Shine in Blackout- A classic black nail polish. I think every nail polish collection should have a classic black. I'm interested to see how opaque this is, so I'll report back soon!
I'm going to review the polishes and do a couple of posts I think. I'm intrigued by the Barry M Gelly's because I've heard so much about them.
What nail polishes do you recommend I try?
Thanks for reading,
Avani
