Tried and Tested: Revlon Grow Luscious Lash Potion Mascara

I've heard a lot about the Grow Luscious Mascara range from Revlon. I decided to pick up the Lash Potion version during my latest Boot splurge and I have to say, I'm not that impressed.

The wand is really big and quite long. You can easily coat the lashes from root to tip. I personally like the wand, that's not where my issue lies. My main issue is that the mascara just doesn't do much for my lashes. If you're looking for a very natural looking mascara, then this is perfect. If you're looking for a lot of definition and volume, I don't recommend it.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the formula. It lasts all day and doesn't flake or smudge. It's not great at holding a curl and I did notice my lashes drop throughout the day. Again, that wasn't really a problem but if you have lashes that don't hold a curl well, there are better mascaras out there that I'd recommend.

I may not have liked this mascara, but that's not to say it's terrible. My only problem is that it didn't do much for me. It's not a complete fail as I can see myself reaching for this on natural no makeup makeup days.

Have you tried Revlon's Lash Potion Mascara? What did you think?

Thanks for reading,
Avani
