Tried and Tested: Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Complex II
The original Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair serum was one of my favourites. When they updated their formula, I was very intrigued to try it.
I'm not going to lie, I don't know the science behind Advanced Night Repair Complex II. I have no idea what they've added or what they've changed. However, I blooming love it. It's a beautiful serum that leaves my skin feeling hydrated and soothed.
The texture is really unusual. It's very thin and runny but when you put it on your face, it almost sets. It does feel a little bit tacky on the skin, but not in an uncomfortable way. It sort of feels like there's something for my moisturiser to stick to. The texture of this serum is actually what I'd like in a makeup primer. I use this every night, after toning and before moisturising. A couple of drops is enough for my face and neck.
I've been using this for the past couple of months and my skin is feeling really really good. It's glowing and looks healthy and I have to credit that to this serum. I haven't had any problems with dehydration or any significant dry patches. I don't think it will be hydrating enough for the winter, but for the warmer months, this is perfect. It is expensive, ranging from £50-£82 depending on what size you get. Personally, I think it's worth it as it really does work for me.
Overall, Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Complex II lives up to every expectation. It's a brilliant serum that I'd recommend to all skin types.
What are your thoughts on Advanced Night Repair Complex II?
