Monthly Favourites: June 2015

June is now over, which means it's time for my monthly favourites post. 

I re discovered my Naked palette this month. I used it on a friend for her prom makeup and it reminded me why I love this palette. My favourite shade is Half Baked which is a very vibrant true gold shimmer. It's creamy and intense and looks stunning on darker skins. I've loved using it to create a really warm smokey eye with a pop of gold on the lid. All the shades blend well and are perfect for special occasions. 

I've been loving the whole bronzed skin thing this month and the Bourjois Chocolate Bronzer is ideal for creating that look. It's incredibly natural but you can really build it up to create a faux tan. Although it contains a tiny amount of shimmer, it doesn't show up on the face. 

Another favourite has been the Max Factor Miracle Touch Creamy Blush in Soft Pink which has been my go to for this warm weather we've been having. As the name would suggest, it's a soft pink cream blush. Funny that. It's a very natural colour and leaves a nice luminous flush to the cheeks. 

I did a small order of Zoeva brushes earlier in the month and the two that really stood out to me were the 114 Luxe Face Focus Brush and the 129 Luxe Fan Brush. The Luxe Face Focus brush is great for powdering the face and for precise blush application. The Luxe Fan brush is perfect for highlighting as it gives a really even coverage.
