Book Review: Pretty Honest by Sali Hughes

I've wanted to read Pretty Honest by Sali Hughes since its release. Well, Santa must have paid attention because it made its way under the tree this Christmas. 
In a sentence, Pretty Honest is the ultimate beauty book. It covers everything from determining your skin type to how to deal with counter staff. If you're new to makeup or beauty in general, it's a great starting point. It has all the information you'd ever need including cheat sheets for skincare, how to apply foundation and a whole lot more. 

Pretty Honest is full of candid anecdotes and the entire time I was reading it, I felt as though Sali was there talking to me. It feels a lot more personal than just a beauty book. You can really relate to her experiences which in my opinion, makes me trust her advice even more. 

This is one of those beauty books every woman could benefit from. It makes a great gift and I'm sure I'll be reading this over and over again.
