Tried and Tested: L'oreal EverStrong Sulphate Free Shampoo and Conditioner
As promised in my Updated Haircare Routine, I'm here with a review of the L'oreal EverStrong Sulphate Free Shampoo and Conditioner (£6.20 each).
Shampoo:
For a sulphate free shampoo, this lathers up extremely well. It has a beautiful creamy lather that feels very luxurious. It does a fantastic job at getting rid of grease and built up products without drying the hair out. It also doesn't leave anything behind. A lot of the creamier shampoo's leave my hair feeling very heavy and greasy after use but this just leaves it feeling clean. It's a very good shampoo. I much prefer this to the L'oreal EverRiche Shampoo because it's just that tad lighter whilst still being hydrating.
Conditioner:
I like this conditioner. It really hydrated my parched ends without being too hydrating. It leaves my hair feeling super soft and healthy which is generally what I'm after. I do really like this for an everyday conditioner and it works nicely with the shampoo. It's quite rich and I tend to focus it through the mid lengths and ends rather than the roots.
This duo is really great for sensitive scalps and brittle hair. It claims to strengthen the hair and I would have to agree with that. After about 2 months of use, the combination does appear to have made my hair stronger. I've also noticed that my hair looks shinier and healthier which I think is due to the ingredients and it being free from sulphates.
The scent is really different too. It's quite herbal. I actually like the smell because it's so different to all the other hair products I use. It's a really refreshing scent. It doesn't linger in the hair for too long though so if you're not a huge fan of it, you won't be smelling it until your next wash.
Overall, I like this combination and for a sulphate free formula, it works just as well if not better than it's sulphate containing counterparts. I definitely recommend the L'oreal EverStrong Shampoo and Conditioner!
What's your favourite sulphate free shampoo and conditioner?
Thanks for reading,
Avani
