Review: MaxFactor False Lash Effect Mascara

 

I bought the Maxfactor False Lash Effect mascara on whim in Boots to make the most of their 3 for 2 offer. Let me tell you, I'm glad I did. I love the way this makes my lashes look. They look full, thick and long. Every time I use this mascara, I have a great lash day. I had heard good things about it but I was not expecting this!


There's just something about this mascara that I can't place- it just works well. It has a big fat plastic wand which you guys know I love because you can coat the lashes root to tip in seconds. 

I actually have the shade Black Brown which I didn't realise until I came home. Despite being called Black Brown, I would definitely say it pulls up more black on my lashes. I love using this and I will definitely repurchase this (probably in the shade black).

I would highly recommend this mascara. It ticks all the boxes and last all day without flaking or running down my face. I also think you can really build up the volume without your lashes clumping which is great. After trying this, I really want to try other mascaras by Maxfactor!
