An Ode to Mac's Hush

If you can't tell by the love heart shaped prop and rose petals how much I adore Mac's Cream Colour Base in Hush, then let this post serve as a not so subtle reminder. As if you needed one, I mention it all the bloody time! 

It's a lovely peachy cream highlighter that makes your skin glow. When applied to the skin, it has an almost dewy effect on the cheeks. That being said, its creamy texture makes it look so natural. It packs just as much of a punch as a powder shimmery highlighter, but whilst staying natural. It's intense, but people would believe the glow is you and not makeup, unless you told them. It also works well layered underneath a multitude of powder highlighters. I love pairing it with Becca's Champagne Pop. It looks stunning. Because of the nature of the cream, photographing a swatch is so difficult! Unlike a powder, you can't see it in every angle. The best thing I'd suggest is to swatch it at a Mac counter.

If you're after a new highlighter, let it be Mac's Hush! It's such a gorgeous shade that suits so many complexions.
