After doing my five product face post, I really wanted to challenge myself and try and narrow it down to the three product face.
I know what you're thinking, a completely made up face with just 3 products. Impossible and I guess it kind of is. This is not full face makeup. It's barely there makeup. I'd describe it as very elegant and natural. Since we're getting into hayfever season, this makeup would be perfect because it's very light and less likely to cause any further irritation. By the way, this doesn't include tools; if anything, I think what you use to apply the products is what's really important for this type of makeup.
Concealer: Skip foundation and conceal where you need it. I recommend blending it in with a sponge because it will give the most natural but flawless finish. Using the sponge to blend the concealer enables you to layer the product and build coverage so you really get the most out of it.
Mascara: Before applying mascara, give your lashes a good curl. Curled lashes really open up the eyes and makes you look more awake. Apply as many coats of mascara as you want.
Lipstick (as blush): I mentioned this in the five product face and the same applies here. Choose something sheer that can be used as cream blush. Dab a tiny amount of product onto your fingers and pat this onto the apples of the cheeks blending out towards the ears. You can build it up to your desired intensity. If you don't want to use lipstick, you could just use a very creamy cream blush that would work on the lips too.
Lipstick (as lipstick this time): Use the same colour as your cheeks on your lips. Whatever I'm using, I prefer to dab in onto the lips to create a natural finish. I also prefer the finish to be slightly more sheeny, but it's all down to personal preference.
Extra: If you want, you could use that same lipstick very lightly on the centre of the eyelid. Use you fingers and a tiny amount of product and blend it onto the centre of the lid. Using a clean finger, blend the edges so the colour almost melts onto the eyelid.
What would be your three product face?
