With there being so many cream eyeshadows at the drugstore, I thought I'd round up my favourite formula's and colours.
Maybelline Colour Tattoos:
These cream eyeshadows are absolutely brilliant. The formula is very creamy but when they set, they don't budge. I love using them on their own, or with other powder eyeshadows on top. I have the shades 'On and On Bronze,' 'Metallic Pomegranate' and 'Pink Gold.' A look I've been loving recently is 'Pink Gold' all over the lid, a matte brown in the crease and 'Metallic Pomegranate' blended into the outer corners.

Bourjois Colour Edition for Eyes:
These are more of a cream to powder texture. As soon as contact is made with the skin, they transform to a powder finish. I have the shades 'Petale De Glace' and 'Prune Nocturne.' You can really build and layer these cream eyeshadows and they last well on the lids because they set down to a powder. A very good option for oily eyelids. Honestly, they aren't my favourite because I prefer a creamier texture but it's down to preference.

Max Factor Excess Shimmers:
Despite the name, these shadows don't have an excess shimmer finish. They actually have a very finely milled shimmer that gives a glossy look to the lids. I have the shade 'Copper' which really doesn't have any copper in it. It's more of a taupe bronze that's quite cool toned. The texture is almost like a mousse. They're very wet and take quite a while to set, but once they do, they don't move.
The next few cream eyeshadows are in crayon form. These are the most convenient type of cream shadow because you can literally just draw a messy line, blend with a finger and go. Here are my favourites:
Rimmel Scandal Eyes:
I have a couple of these cream sticks and I love the fact that they blend so easily on their own, and with each other. The shade 'Bad Girl Bronze' is a really beautiful rusty brown that you can sheer out or build up to create a sexy lived in smokey eye. I also have the shade 'Bulletproof Beige' which is a lovely champagne gold. It's perfect for all over the lid or as an inner corner highlight.

Bourjois Colour Band Eyeshadow and Liners:
These are the latest to hit the drugstore and are my favourite of their kind. The shade 'Rose Fauviste' is absolutely stunning. It's a pinky rosy gold with a very fine smooth shimmer. It is beautiful all over the lid. You can do one or two layers for a sheer wash of colour or you can really build it up to create the most perfect rose gold cream shadow without it creasing or bunching. I also have the shade 'Beige Minimal' which looks stunning as an inner corner highlight. Both of these colours have a very sophisticated shimmer. There's no glitter, just a sheeny metallic finish.

That marks the end of this post. It's was quite a long one but I hope you've found it useful. The products mentioned are my most used and the ones I highly recommend. If I had to narrow it down, my two favourites are the Maybelline Colour Tattoos and the new Bourjois Colour Band Eyeshadows and Liners.
What's your favourite drugstore cream eyeshadow?
Thanks for reading,

The Rimmel shades look so pigmented - wow! I really like the Max Factor Excess Shimmers and Maybelline Colour Tattoos but the Bourjois Colourbands didn't impress me - I prefer KIKO's xx

What a shame! I think the colours of the Bourjois ones are so unique. I still haven't tried anything from KIKO but keep hearing good things! x
