My Current Makeup Brush Favourites

I'm a makeup brush addict. I have far too many for one person. So, I thought I'd make use of it and turn it into a feature on the blog. Every month or so, I'll be rounding up my current brush faves and sharing how I use them.

Real Techniques Blush Brush- I use with beauty for bronzer. It's perfect for bronzing the face and neck evenly. I've washed this one so many times and it continues to hold up well. It's so good, I'm considering buying another one.

Zoeva 228 Crease Brush- Amazing for blending out the edges of eyeshadow. This is my designated keep clean blending brush. I use this every time I wear eyeshadow. It's soft and washes well. In fact, it gets fluffier every time I wash it, which I love.

Real Techniques Contour Brush- This brush is perfect for powder highlighters. It's small enough to hit the tops of the cheekbones precisely, but big enough for it not to leave a harsh line. It blends powder highlighters seamlessly into the skin.

Zoeva Luxe Sheer Cheek 127 Brush- This is my favourite blush brush. I don't what it is about this brush but it just deposits the right amount of colour in the right places. If you are afraid of blush or have a really pigmented blush, this is the right brush for you. The shape enable you to quite literally sweep the colour on. It leaves the most natural wash of colour.

Zoeva Face Paint 109 Brush- Contouring addicts, this will be your best friend. The shape means it's perfect for getting right into the hollows of the cheeks. You can get right into the sides of the nose and get a precise contour. I like to apply the product to the tip of one side of the brush and sweep it along. This action also blends the product. Again, it's soft and washes well.

That's all for my current favourite makeup brushes. Like I said, I'm a brush addict and can never have too many, so expect to see another one of these soon!

What brushes are you currently loving?

Thanks for reading,

    1. They are all amazing! Love Makeup have some great Zoeva sets on their website. That's how I tried the brand. The brushes are fantastic. Softer than MAC. The individual eye brushes don't exceed £8 I think so it's great value. I do love the sets though! Thanks for reading hun :) x

  2. I don't really use makeup brushes. I used to, though! Now when I do, it's usually the Shiseido 131 and various dupes. I've heard so much about Zoeva lately (still eyeing that Rose Gold set) and RT that I kind of want to give it a go and revisit brushes again!

    1. I really do think Zoeva is a good brand. The brushes aren't too expensive and they seem to hold up well. The Rose Gold set looks so beautiful! RT is also a great brand. Between both brands, you can get every brush you would ever need! x
