October is over. You know what means, monthly favourites time!
Makeup:
Rimmel Kate Moss Matte Lipstick in 107 and Mac's Rebel. Apart, they are beautiful. Together, they are stunning. If I put this time of year into a lipstick, it would be this combination.
Zoeva Luxe Sheer Cheek Brush has been great this month in particular. It's the best blush brush. The shape makes it easy to apply blush in the right areas and the texture means you don't pick up too much product. If you have a very pigmented blush (so basically anything from Sleek) or you just tend to be heavy handed with blush, look this way. It's a fab brush that everyone should have in their collection.
Nails:
The Tanya Burr Nail Polish in Red Riding Hood is the perfect Autumn/Winter red. It's dark enough for this time of year but it still comes up red. I love it. It lasts ages on the nails too, I had it on for 5 days with minimal chipping. Result!
Skincare:
It's been a month of skincare, specifically new skincare. I have been loving the Una Brennan Clay Mask with Salicylic Acid. It's brilliant if your skin is congested. The salicylic acid gently exfoliates making the skin so smooth and soft. It's not drying at all and has been my staple for clearing up breakouts. Also new to me this month is The Body Shop Aloe Toner. Where has this been all my life? This is a brilliant toner. It's calming, soothing, refreshing and just an all round gem! You can read my full review here.
Other:
I've found another Youtuber I love and her name is Karima McKimmie from Shameless Fripperies. She's an incredibly talented makeup artist who is a joy to watch. She's very well spoken and just explains things in a way that I haven't come across on Youtube. If you like Lisa Eldridge (if you don't, I'm not sure we can be friends…..kidding of course!) then you will love Karima.
