Monthly Favourites: June 2014
Another month, another favourites post. Let's do this!
Makeup:
The Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer has been my best friend this month. It provides such good coverage that I can wear it on its own and not need to bother with foundation. I've done a full review (here) so if you want more info, check out that post. My next favourite is the Real Techniques Setting Brush. I just did a post declaring my love for this brush. This brush and concealer get on like two peas in a pod. Finally for makeup is my MaxFactor False Lash Effect Mascara. This is probably the best all round mascara- I love it!
Skincare:
I've been travelling a lot this month and my Cicaplast Lips from La Roche Posay has really saved the day. Again, I just did a full post on this so I won't go into too much detail here. All I'm going to say is chapped lips be gone! My next skincare favourite is actually a body SPF and it's the Riemann P20 Suncream SPF 20 (not pictured). I have eczema and suncreams usually aggravate it but this didn't. It's really lightweight and doesn't leave any white marks on the body. It comes out as an oil but it doesn't feel greasy on the skin. I've just really enjoyed using it. I'll be doing a full post on it soon so stay tuned for that! Lastly for skincare is the Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask. My skin has been so dry this month so I've been using this as my night time moisturiser. It has really helped add the moisture back into the skin without it feeling greasy. I highly recommend it!
Fashion:
Yep. I've got a fashion favourite this month and it's this top from Dorothy Perkins. I really love this shirt because you can dress it up and down. I also have it in a dark red which is equally beautiful. They're super comfy and lightweight making them perfect for summer. I hope Dorothy Perkins releases more colours because I love them!
Other:
I've got to mention my recent holiday to Mauritius. I stayed at the Dinarobin Hotel Golf and Spa which is such an amazing hotel. The whole experience was great and Mauritius is a beautiful island! I definitely want to go back!
So, that's everything. A few new discoveries in there and some old favourites!
What are your current favourites?
Thanks for reading,
Avani
